Cedarmount School was born out of the desire to cure the apparent deficiencies in the quality of education that is prevailing in our society today.

We are a privately owned and professionally run School. We commenced full operation on 4th of September 2017, in a prime location along the 1st Avenue, Plot 837, Y close Festac Town, Lagos.

All kinds of disciplines like music and use of musical instruments, body- kinaesthetic, spatial, interpersonal, intra-personal, intuitive skills and the traditional linguistics and logical-mathematical (reading, writing, mathematics) methods are taught and nurtured.

Our classrooms are bright and cherry and are led by highly trained and certified professional guides or Educators in their various fields. We are always researching and undergoing personnel training to keep up with the latest trend in the world, as learning is never static but keeps evolving with new discoveries every day.

Children are grouped across a two-three years age span and are personally challenged at their individual levels by a Curriculum that integrates core knowledge areas, while fostering the collaborative problem solving and critical thinking skills necessary to succeed in life.

The School is set to create a deep, persistent and abiding desire for a lifetime of learning. We nurture a child’s innate curiosity and thirst for knowledge in a supportive learning environment that prepare them for a lifelong intellectual, social and emotional success.

We encourage parents to be full participants and partners in their child’s education.

At the end we want to put out in the world/society a well-balanced, intuitive thinker, whose mind can conceive great ideas and has self-confidence and inner drive to succeed in life no matter where the child finds himself/herself.
